Hello,
My name is Paige Weckesser, and I am a senior at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. I enjoy playing softball, skiing, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Throughout High School I have worked at a local grocery store called Spera's where I spent my time in the bakery department making and decorating cookies-a job I have truly enjoyed. Softball has been a significant part of my life since I was 8 years old. I have played for club teams as well as the CNS Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. As a utility player, I stepped in wherever my coach needed me, though my favorite position has always been outfield. In addition to softball, skiing has always brought me a lot of enjoyment and allows me to embrace Syracuse's cold, snowy winters. Giving back to my community is also very important to me. I volunteer for nationally recognized organizations such as The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Wreaths Across America, as well as local organizations like Book Van Go. At CNS I am a part of the Class of 2025 Executive Board and an active member of the National Honors Society.
Academically, I have always shown interests in math, science, and design which has led me to my goal of pursuing a degree in civil engineering. I will be working towards this goal at Clarkson University this fall. I plan to graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management in hopes to become a Project Manager. During my time at Clarkson University, I plan to get involved by joining the Ski Club, Outdoors Club, and the Society of Woman Engineers. I am beyond excited to start this new chapter of my life and look forward to the opportunities ahead!
